Loading dock bridge
Bridging loading height differences in a simple, fast and cost-effective way

Optimize your logistics with a solution designed to bridge the height difference between the warehouse and the truck manually and safely. We offer metal dock plates for loading docks manufactured in steel and aluminium, with options such as the fixed dock plate or the laterally sliding loading bridge on guide rail to serve multiple loading positions.
Installation is very simple, as it is fixed directly to the dock edge of the building, distribution centre or warehouse. No electrical power supply is required, making it ideal for facilities without electricity. They can be fixed or laterally sliding, allowing side movement to optimize their use.
Benefits and operational return
Simple height bridging
Creates a stable passage between the loading dock and the truck, facilitating the movement of goods.
A more economical solution
Compared to more complex alternatives, it requires lower investment and is highly attractive for simple or moderate operations.
No major civil works required
No pit is needed, which simplifies installation and reduces adaptation costs.
Greater manoeuvring agility
Allows truck alignment errors to be corrected by moving the platform laterally without having to reposition the vehicle.
No electrical power required
As it operates manually, it does not depend on electrical connection or hydraulic systems.
Simple and practical handling
Easy-to-use equipment, ideal for operations where a functional solution is required without technical complexity.
Minimum maintenance
Simplified design and resistance to dirt ensure continuous operability with only basic preventive inspections.

Frequently asked questions
What Is the difference between fixed and sliding loading bridges?
The fixed version is welded in a permanent position, making it the more cost-effective option. The sliding version runs on a guide rail to align precisely with the truck or to serve multiple loading positions.
When should steel be chosen instead of aluminium?
Steel is intended for intensive use and loads of up to 5,000 kg. Aluminium is chosen for its light weight, suitability for small and occasional loads, and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for the food industry.
Is civil works required?
No. They are installed directly on the edge of the loading dock by welding them to a 100 × 100 × 10 mm steel angle.
Can it be operated by a single person?
Yes. The traction spring system counterbalances the weight, allowing it to be raised or lowered with one hand and without ergonomic risk.
What maximum height difference can it bridge?
It depends on the length, but it can accommodate positive height differences of up to +30 cm and negative differences of up to -23 cm.
Are there any special finishes available?
Yes, we offer galvanized versions for outdoor use and stainless steel versions for environments with strict hygiene requirements.
